Remote Control Baseball Set – Pitching Toy for Kids (with Extendable Bat & 5 Balls)

My grandson is 7. He loves this so much. I'm sorry he wanted me to record him in slow motion. At the very beginning of the video you can see how fast the ball ejects. This comes with 10 balls that are plastic and lightweight enough that they can't really break most things indoors. We have a pretty clear area we can play inside with just moving a few items. The balls do not leave marks on my walls. I think it is best played outside though!!. These balls can really travel!

A child can practice hitting a baseball by themselves. It can also be used as a kicking tool in taeqwondo. It can build quick reactions.

Este juego de Baseball ha sido genial para mis hijos! Ellos se divierten mucho jugando con él, además de que le ayuda a mi hijo de 9 años a practicar su bateo sin tener yo que aventarle la pelota. La calidad del plástico es buena, aunque si le pegan fuerte a las pelotas, éstas se pueden abollar. Todo el set se guarda fácilmente en una bolsa que viene incluida, la cual me pareció genial. También a mi hija de 5 años le encanta jugar con éste set. Este juego de Baseball funciona muy bien, sólo hay que colocar las pelotas y apretar el botón para que comience a aventar las pelotas, lo cual las avienta suficientemente alto. La verdad nos gustó mucho, es muy práctico y divertido y verlos que los ayuda a desarrollar sus habilidades psicomotrices es bastante bueno. Un juego bien recomendado!

The Fourth of July was coming, and my 4 year old nephew was coming up for a several day visit to the family lake home. The last time I saw him in May, he had brought a bat and ball up, but baseball is not a lot of fun to play by yourself, as his sister doesn't really like to play. When this neat toy popped up, it made me think back to that week in May, and I thought this would be a fun outside thing for him to do when he visited. Unfortunately, it rained a lot for the three days he was there, so he really only got one dry morning to use it, but he had a lot of fun with it for that time. So if you can't tell from the description it is a battery operated toy that pops whiffle balls into the air to hitting height, and kids can swing away at it. The beauty of it is you can put in five balls, and it will automatically pop them up every 7 seconds, and allows kids to concentrate on hitting, instead of having to chase after a ball each time they swing. It does come with ten balls, so a child can have a pretty good run of hitting before they have to go round up the hollow plastic balls. It's a lot like hitting off a tee, but the ball is moving so kids can get a little practice with their hand eye coordination. It's kind of fun, and it made me think about why I didn't have stuff like this when I was a kid. I don't even remember having a Tee to hit a ball off of, just a big ol heavy wood bat. lol. This was great fun, and I think he already improved his hitting just by the little time he played with it. It does require four AA batteries, they are not included. I wish I could give you an estimate on the hours the batteries last; they didn't run out yet, so I don't know. I don't think that will be a big problem, however. The video from the manufacturer kind of makes it look like the bat is adjustable, but that is really just for purposes of fitting it in the box. I didn't see where you could lock it in shorter than full extension. It also comes with a decent storage bag. Downsides: well, I don't know what its durability will be; nothing broke yet, and it's still functional. It does make a little noise you could find annoying but it's not the end of the world. Overall it's a decent toy, it allowed my nephew to enjoy some aspects of baseball even when playing by himself outside, so I think it was well worth the price.

This is perfect for developing the skills needed to hit a ball being thrown rather than from a stationary tee. While this pitcher doesn't lob the ball towards the batter, it removes the crutch of the tee and helps build confidence for budding baseball stars. This IS NOT for real baseballs and uses a light ball made specifically for this pitcher. It's super simple to assemble and start using. This looks and feels like a toy which is good in my opinion. Young children will have more confidence hitting from this than from a ball being thrown at them.
