Hello! My name is Mike, and I'm a single father raising a wonderful eight-year-old girl. I work at a center that collects and recycles non-recyclable waste — old furniture, electronics, household appliances. It's not the most glamorous job, but I do my best to provide a good life for my daughter.

Being so focused on work, I didn’t notice how much she was drifting into the digital world. She spent more and more time glued to her tablet, becoming irritable and withdrawn. I knew something had to change, but I had no idea how.

I started asking colleagues and neighbors how they dealt with screen addiction, and to my surprise, most parents were struggling with the same problem. They felt powerless, offering gadgets as the easiest solution to keep their kids entertained. I realized it wasn’t just my problem — it was everyone’s.

One day, while sorting through a pile of discarded items, I stumbled upon an old school microscope. Dusty and worn, but still functional. For some reason, I felt this could be the key. After cleaning it up, I gave it to my daughter and showed her how to use it. To my surprise, her eyes lit up with curiosity. That simple tool sparked a passion for discovery I hadn’t seen in her for a long time.

But a bulky microscope wasn’t ideal for a hyperactive child. Preparing samples and using it properly felt more like a chore than an adventure. So, I went on a mission to find something better. After a long search, I finally got her a portable pocket microscope.

It was a game-changer. She could now explore leaves, insects, sand, and even raindrops wherever she went. This tiny device opened up a whole new world for her, far more fascinating than any screen.
