M1906 Browning Mini Gun 3D Wooden Puzzle

This is a really fun wooden puzzle set. The materials are good quality and the build only took a couple hours. The end result is a working rubber band gun that looks awesome and seems well built. We have bought other sets from this brand and it seems to be a very reliable company.

Cute and fun little 1.5-2 hour project. 4 stars only because my kit was missing the wax stick it was supposed to come with. Instructions were easy to follow, although there were some steps (regarding the springs, specifically) where it had you double check that everything was in the right place, but you'd already added another piece over it, so if you had to adjust it you'd have to take it apart again. Definitely pay attention to where the instructions state to be careful with the pieces you're handling because they're fragile - that is definitely true. I broke off a piece on accident and there's really no way to reattach it - but the gun still functions fine. This kit comes with a bunch of rubber bands and even 2 little targets to practice your aim on. 10/10 recommend.

Every once in awhile I like to take a break from plastic modeling. I've found that building a functional wood puzzle, fulfills my need to build something - but without the hassle of researching colors, finding paints, etc. I can have a few hours of fun without worry. One of the better wood puzzle manufacturers, in my experience, has been Rokr. I've built several from them and have had no complaints. This kit is no different. It has a great design, quality parts, and easy to follow instructions. I got this kit as it looked cool, and creates a rubber-band pistol reminiscent of a Walther PPK. The kit comes with everything you need to build the model - except for one thing. For some reason Rokr decided not to include a small wax block (used to lubricate some of the parts) citing some bizarre customs issue. This has never been an issue in their other kits (or those of other brands), but is for this one. I ended-up scrounging wax from a tea light candle. Construction went without incident, and I was done in a few hours. The completed "gun" has a very feminine motif (which somewhat spoils the overall look imo). I may retouch a few things later to correct that. Regardless, the pistol operates quite well as the slide moves when fired (recoil). The slide can even be locked open. There is also a faux clip that can be taken in/out of the magazine (although it is a trifle difficult). The pistols can fire up to eight rubber-bands per loading (only semi-automatic- sorry). You get two little soldiers to fire at as targets. I think this is a cool little diversion for a rainy (or snowy - in my case) day project. It is fairly priced and a fun way to putter away the afternoon.

This was a really satisfying build from start to finish. The quality of the wood pieces is excellent, and the final product looks great—elegant, detailed, and unique. The “cycling” firing mechanism adds a very cool touch, and it holds a surprising number of rubber bands. Assembly was straightforward and enjoyable, with precise parts that fit together well. It’s a fun display piece and an entertaining little rubber band shooter. That said, there are a couple of small things to note. The magazine is purely decorative and doesn’t function as storage, which feels like a missed opportunity. Also, the overall size is a bit smaller than expected, though it’s still comfortable to hold and use. Still, the craftsmanship and creativity behind this model make it a standout. Great for puzzle enthusiasts and anyone who enjoys hands-on, mechanical kits.

This was a fun build. It took me around two hours to finish it, and I'm a very experienced and efficient builder. I don't think it would be possible to build it in less than an hour and a half. Honestly I think it would take most people 2.5+ hours. The details are fantastic. I just love how it looks, and I'm extremely impressed with how smoothly it functions. Without exaggeration this is the best rubber band gun I've ever used. I've been shooting things around my house all day!
